It was a wild weekend across three rinks (Brewster, Danbury, and South Kent) as the Hat City Showdown crowned winners mite through midget, including multiple local squads.

The Third Rail ousted the Northern Wild, KF Panda, and Complex Kings to win the 10U championship. $500 was awarded to the Amer family (WE09) from the 10U division.

Runaway Train took the 4-2 victory over Aviator in a spirited 12U final on Warrior weekend. $500 more was awarded to the Amer family (WE09) from the 12U division.

NYCONN 18U topped NYC SHS 18U in the final and took home the prize while Advocate 16U and Tristate Stars 18U all making for a spirited weekend.

The Express 11 team upended the 6-0 NY Saints in a tight 4-3 final to take the gold. The Dawgs took bronze over Express 12, while the Tigers, Express AA and Complex Kings all put in the work!

The Devil Rays topped the Bears in the 10U final, topping excellent efforts from the Kraken and KF Panda to nab the trophy 6-4 in the title game.

The KF Panda finished atop the 12U Division after a wild Sunday saw the division shaken up, ousting the Diamondbacks in the weekend's final game.

The Hudson Valley Riverhawks ran the table at 8UTOPIA, topping KF Panda, Bedford, Express, and two Tri-State teams to close out the Spring!

October 11 & 12
The E9 sent three 10U teams down from New England (Jr Warriors, Patriots HC, & Casco Bay) but the PAL Islanders, NJ Hitmen, and Westchester Express defended the home turf with a 10-1-1-0 record. The Islanders led the way, going a perfect 4-0-0-0.

December 5, 6 & 7
The Grit Warriors were on the warpath, going undefeated against the five team field, with convincing wins over Shelton, Acela 2017, the Hurricanes, and the Patriots to nab the #1 seed, then beating #4 Shelton and #2 Acela to bring the silver chalice home.

The PAL Blue Knights shut out Team Vermont 3-0 in a thrilling final that saw both #1 seeds come out of group play to compete for the trophy. The eight team field also featured the LI Monarchs, the Golden Knights, Acela 2018, NJ Patriots, CT Bombers and CT Americans.
