BREWSTER ICE ARENA IS THE HOME TO TWO ORGANIZATIONS:
Western Colonials
The Western Connecticut Youth Hockey Association (WCYHA) is a non-profit organization that offers boys and girls of the Greater Danbury area the opportunity to learn the sport of hockey, and improve their skills through practices and competition.
In 2025-2026 we will offer:
- Tier 2 AA 16U National Bound team competing in the CHC
- Tier 3 AA Western Colonials Programs competing in the CHC at all age groups
- Tier 4 A Western Colonials Programs competing in the CHC at all age groups
- All of our youth hockey players enjoy regular Power Skating Sessions, with TriState Stars and Goalie Instruction from Prime Goaltending
We are excited to grow our legacy of success and strive to build our reputation as a top program in the CHC.
Westchester Express
The Westchester Express have been developing hockey players at the Brewster Ice Arena since 2000, building a reputation for excellence and results on and off the ice.
In 2024-2025 The Express:
- Tier 1 AAA Express Programs competed in the THF at all age groups
- Tier 2 AA Express Programs competed in the AHF and LIAHL
- All of our youth hockey players enjoyed regular Power Skating Sessions
- with Erik Nates and Goalie Instruction from Prime Goaltending
- National Bound at all relevant 'Major' Age Groups
The Express are excited to evolve in 2025-2026 as Steve Santini re-takes the reins as Director at the youth levels and Nick Minerva oversees the older age groups.
Team by team details will be released prior to tryouts.
