UPDATE: THURSDAY 9/10/26
Out of respect for everyone's time, we are canceling all weekend activities and now realistically plan to re-open on Monday, September 14th.
Numerous setbacks (a chain reaction of failing machinery) have slowed progress until now.
We hoped to be at this point on Tuesday... it is now Thursday evening.
While there is a chance that we will have skateable ice at some point this weekend we cannot leave teams and families waiting any longer on a chance.
We need our compressors to continue running overnight so temps can drop below freezing before we can build the ice up, layer by layer, to a safe level for usage.
We will work to reschedule ice times with our teams and charters during whatever time I have at my desk in the coming days.
Program directors will follow up about the makeup dates and times as we work to make things right.
